Tasuki has several Tsumego (life and death puzzle) Collections available for free download here. Check out his website at http://tsumego.tasuki.org . The collections show only the board postions (not solutions). This works well if you are trying to adhere to Benjiman Tueber’s outline for getting Strong at go which you can check out at this Sensei’s Library page.
Check out the beta global go map at www.goplayer.com/gomap. Better yet, post yourself and your local club onto the map.

I am happy to announce that goplayer.com now includes weiqiplayer.com and badukplayer.com. I haven’t figured out the best way to divide and conquer yet so all three domains point to this one for the moment.
I am working on expanding the site beyond the present state ( rarely updated blog that it is) .

Ben Harter has done a great job setting up the Central Connecticut Go Club. The club meets at the Barnes and Noble Bookstore in Glastonbury. Click here for information.
I am also very excited about the formation of the New Haven Go Club. You can find out more information at their Google Group website at http://newhaven.goplayer.com .
… will be held July 28 – August 4, 2007, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. See this link for details. I have yet to be able to attend a Go congress. Hopefully I can finally attend this year. Everyone that I know that has attended says that it is an awesome experience. See this link for details.
Here is a nice 9 minute video of the first Basque Open Go Championship (November 2006). The video quality is good. Subtitles were a little small but readable. The video includes a very basic introduction to the game. I wish I was there.

Check out this video on Youtube. It is a mini-documentary on the revival of Go in Japan. More video links to come.
Check out this nicely crafted Goboard Pincushion at www.etsy.com. The artist is from Germany. It is certainly more beautiful and rugged than the little magnetic set I have.
How to be an Expert: … an interesting article about becoming expert by developing a “a rage to master.”Maybe it possible to reach Shodan even if you started playing later in life. Doing some life and death problems might be a good start.

Since I don’t have any meaningful go information posted yet, check out the American Go Association for all things GO.
